Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: August 1, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and your registration for and attendance at the I20 Summit, also known as The Investment 20. By using this website, buying a pass or attending, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website and do not register.
Please read section 22 and section 23 carefully, because they limit our liability, and section 27, because it requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration rather than in court.
1. Who These Terms Are With
The I20 Summit is produced by SWFI Events LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, referred to in these Terms as SWFI Events, we, us and our. Our address is 732 S 6th St, Ste R, Las Vegas, NV 89101, and you can reach us at concierge@i20summit.com. Your contract for a pass is with SWFI Events LLC.
The summit is convened under the banner of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute, which is a separate organization. References to the Institute describe who convenes the programme, and they do not make the Institute a party to these Terms.
The I20 Summit is an independent initiative of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to the G20, the Group of Twenty, or the Government of the United States. Nothing on this website or at the event should be read as a statement by, or on behalf of, the G20 or any government.
2. Eligibility
The I20 Summit is a business event for adults. You must be at least eighteen years old to register, to buy a pass or to attend, and by doing any of those things you confirm that you are. If you register on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
Some passes and some rooms carry eligibility criteria based on the kind of organization you represent. We may verify eligibility before or after purchase, and we may decline or cancel a registration where the criteria are not met.
3. Registration and Credentials
Your registration is complete when we confirm it in writing and payment has cleared. Please give us accurate and complete information and keep it up to date, because we use it to issue your credential and to reach you about the event.
Your credential is issued to you personally. It is not to be shared, lent, duplicated, altered or given to anyone else, and it must be worn and visible throughout the event. Presenting a credential that is not yours, or altering a credential, is a breach of these Terms, and we may remove the person concerned from the event and cancel the registration without a refund.
You are responsible for the security of any account you create on this website and for everything that happens under it. Tell us promptly at concierge@i20summit.com if you think it has been compromised.
4. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown at the point of purchase and are stated in United States dollars. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase unless we have agreed invoicing in writing, in which case the invoice terms apply and your registration is not confirmed until the invoice is paid.
Prices do not include travel, accommodation, visa costs, insurance or anything else that is not expressly described as included with the pass. You are responsible for any taxes, duties, bank charges or currency conversion costs that apply to your purchase.
Charges appear on your card or bank statement as WHOP*I20SUMMIT. If you see a charge you do not recognize, please check for that descriptor before contacting your bank.
We may change prices at any time, and we may open, close or re-price categories of pass. A change in price after you buy does not entitle you to a refund or an adjustment.
5. All Sales Are Final
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. PASSES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. The full terms, including the limited circumstances in which we correct a billing error and what happens if we cancel or move the event, are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it before you buy.
6. Substitution and Transfer
We understand that plans change, so instead of a refund we allow substitution. You may ask us to transfer your pass to a colleague by sending a written request to concierge@i20summit.com by Monday, October 26, 2026.
Substitution is subject to the following. The person taking your place must meet the eligibility criteria for that pass. We approve substitutions at our discretion. We may charge a reasonable administrative fee, which we will tell you about before we process the change. Only one substitution is permitted per pass. After the deadline we cannot guarantee that a substitution can be made, because credentials, catering and room capacity are committed in advance.
7. No Resale
Passes may not be resold, auctioned, listed on any secondary marketplace, offered above the price you paid, or used as a prize, giveaway or promotional item without our written permission. A pass obtained through any of these channels is void, and we may refuse entry to the holder without a refund to anyone.
8. The Programme May Change
The programme is developed over many months and we publish it in good faith. Speakers, moderators, panelists, session titles, session times, room assignments, formats, the running order and the venue's internal layout are all subject to change. Named participants appear subject to their availability, and their appearance is not a term of your purchase.
A change to any of these does not entitle you to a refund, a credit, an exchange or compensation.
9. Cancellation, Postponement or Relocation by Us
If we cancel the event entirely, our Refund Policy explains what we will do. If we postpone the event, move it to a different venue in the same metropolitan area, change its dates or convert all or part of it to a virtual or hybrid format, your pass will be honored for the rescheduled or replacement event and no refund, credit or exchange is due.
10. Conduct at the Event
We want the event to be a place where senior people can speak candidly, so we ask everyone to behave professionally and with courtesy toward attendees, speakers, staff, contractors and venue employees.
You agree that you will not harass, threaten, intimidate or discriminate against anyone, disrupt a session, solicit or distribute promotional material outside the areas designated for it, misrepresent who you are or who you represent, film, record or photograph in any room where we have said recording is not permitted, or break any venue rule or any law.
We may refuse entry, remove you from the event or cancel your registration without a refund if you breach this section, and we may decline your registration for future events we produce.
Some rooms operate under stated confidentiality rules. Where we tell you that a room is off the record, you agree not to attribute, publish, broadcast or repeat what is said in it outside the room.
11. Health, Safety and Assumption of Risk
You are responsible for your own health and safety and for following the instructions of event and venue staff. Attending a large gathering carries inherent risks, including the risk of exposure to communicable illness, and by attending you accept those risks. We may put health and safety requirements in place, including in response to law or venue rules, and you agree to follow them. If you do not, we may refuse entry without a refund.
12. Photography, Filming and Recording
We photograph, film, record and live stream at the event. By attending, you agree that we and those we authorize may capture your image, likeness, voice and statements, and may use that material worldwide, in any medium, without payment or further approval, to report on, promote and archive the event and our work.
If you would rather not appear, tell us in writing before the event at concierge@i20summit.com and we will do what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that you will not appear in general views of a room, a stage or a reception.
13. Travel, Visas and Accommodation
You are responsible for your own travel, accommodation, insurance and immigration arrangements, and for the cost of them. We will provide a letter of invitation to support a visa application on request where you have a confirmed and paid registration, but we do not guarantee that any visa will be granted, and a visa refusal does not entitle you to a refund. Where a pass includes accommodation, the inclusion is described at the point of purchase and is governed by the terms published with it.
We recommend that you book refundable travel or take out travel insurance.
14. No Investment, Legal, Tax or Professional Advice
Everything presented at the I20 Summit and on this website is for information and discussion. It is not investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, it is not an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell any security or financial instrument, and it is not a recommendation of any company, fund, strategy or transaction.
SWFI Events is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, bank or financial institution, and does not act as a fiduciary for you. Views expressed by speakers are their own and are not endorsed by SWFI Events. Participation in the programme by any company is not a recommendation of that company. Please take your own professional advice before making any decision.
15. Website Use
You may use this website for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to use it in any way that breaks the law, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to it or to any system connected to it, to introduce malicious code, to scrape, harvest or extract data by automated means, to interfere with its operation, or to use it to send unsolicited communications.
16. Intellectual Property
The website and the event, including all text, graphics, logos, marks, photographs, video, audio, session recordings, research, reports and the arrangement of them, belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt, perform, display or create derivative works from any of it without our written permission, except that you may view, download and print pages for your own reference.
The names and marks of the organizations that appear on this website belong to their owners and appear for identification. Their appearance does not imply a relationship with SWFI Events beyond the one described.
17. Your Content and Feedback
If you send us content, including questions, comments, materials for a session, or posts to any community we run, you keep ownership of it and you give us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with the event and its promotion. You confirm that you have the right to give us that licence and that the content does not break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
If you send us suggestions about the event or the website, we may use them without obligation or payment.
18. Electronic Communications
When you use this website or send us email you are communicating with us electronically, and you agree that we may communicate with you electronically. You agree that agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.
19. Text Message Program
By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from the I20 Summit at that number.
What we send. Service messages about your registration, your credential, your payment and logistics, and, if you have opted in to them, programme and event updates, reminders and invitations.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your registration status and your preferences.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard rates apply, and we are not responsible for those charges.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and after that we will not send you marketing text messages. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or of the service messages you need in order to attend.
How to get help. Reply HELP to any message, or contact us at concierge@i20summit.com.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive text messages in order to buy a pass or attend.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
Your number. Please tell us if your mobile number changes or is reassigned, so that we do not message someone else.
How we handle the information connected with this program is described in our Privacy Policy.
20. Third-Party Links and Services
This website links to sites and services we do not control, including our payment processor, our venue and organizations taking part in the programme. We are not responsible for their content, their products or their privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Your dealings with them are between you and them.
21. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where the cause is beyond our reasonable control. That includes acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic, public health emergency, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government action, order or restriction, labor dispute, venue closure or loss, failure of utilities or telecommunications, and disruption to transport. In those circumstances section 9 and our Refund Policy govern what happens to your pass.
22. Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE AND THE EVENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure or error free, that any defect will be corrected, or that the site or the servers that make it available are free of harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented at the event or on the website, and we do not warrant that attending will produce any particular business, investment or professional outcome.
23. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWFI EVENTS LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL, DATA OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE WEBSITE OR THE EVENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE WEBSITE OR THE EVENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO US FOR YOUR PASS.
We are also not responsible for loss of or damage to your personal property at the venue, or for the acts or omissions of other attendees, of speakers, of the venue or of any other third party.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.
24. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SWFI Events LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, agents and licensors from any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, your conduct at the event, or your violation of any law or of anyone else's rights.
25. Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to take part. Tell us about an accessibility requirement when you register, or by writing to concierge@i20summit.com at least thirty days before the event, and we will make reasonable arrangements. Requests made closer to the event will be accommodated where we reasonably can.
26. Privacy
Your use of this website and your registration are also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
27. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights.
Informal resolution first. If you have a problem, please contact us at legal@i20summit.com and give us sixty days to try to resolve it with you. Most issues can be settled this way, and we would prefer to.
Agreement to arbitrate. If we cannot resolve it, you and SWFI Events agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the website, your pass or the event will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules or its Commercial Arbitration Rules, whichever applies. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator in Dallas County, Texas, or by telephone or video where the rules allow. The arbitrator's award may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class action waiver. YOU AND SWFI EVENTS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim, and only that claim, will proceed in court.
Small claims. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Injunctive relief. Either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@i20summit.com within thirty days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice needs to include your name, your mailing address and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms, and it will not affect your registration.
Survival. This section survives the ending of these Terms and your attendance at the event.
28. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Where a dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and SWFI Events submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
29. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy and any terms published at the point of purchase, are the whole agreement between us about the website and the event, and they replace anything said or written before.
Order of precedence. If there is a conflict, the terms published at the point of purchase for your specific pass take precedence over these Terms for that pass.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in force.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not give rights to anyone who is not a party to them.
Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not affect interpretation.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page, and if the change is significant we will give notice by email or through the website. The Terms that apply to your purchase are the ones in force when you bought your pass, except where a change is required by law. Your continued use of the website after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
