We are the controller of the personal information described here. Our mailing address is 732 S 6th St, Ste R, Las Vegas, NV 89101, and you can reach us at legal@i20summit.com.

The I20 Summit is an independent initiative of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to the G20, the Group of Twenty, or the Government of the United States.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you register for a pass, request information, apply to participate in the programme, subscribe to updates or contact us, we collect the details you provide. That usually includes your name, business email address, mobile and business telephone numbers, mailing address, job title, organization, organization type, country, dietary and accessibility requirements, and any information you choose to include in a message to us.

Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We receive confirmation of the transaction along with limited details such as the last four digits of the card, the card brand and the billing name and address. We do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.

Credential and attendance information. If you attend, we collect information tied to your credential, which may include the sessions and rooms you enter, meetings you schedule through us, and badge scan records where you present your badge to be scanned.

Information collected automatically. When you use this website we collect IP address, approximate location derived from that address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 13. If you reach this website through a link whose address carries campaign details, such as the advertisement, email or campaign that referred you, we also read those details from the address itself and keep them with any request you then send us through the website, so we can measure how our communications and advertising perform.

Information from others. We may receive information about you from your organization when it registers you, from partners who introduce you to the event, and from public and commercial sources that help us understand which organizations may be a fit for the programme.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to register you and issue your credential, to process payments and send receipts, to plan capacity and catering, to schedule meetings and sessions, to answer your questions, to send you service messages about your registration, to send you programme and event updates where you have asked for them or where we are otherwise permitted to send them, to improve the website and the event, to measure how our communications and advertising perform, to keep the event and the website secure, to detect and prevent fraud, and to comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases. We process your information because it is necessary to perform our contract with you when you buy a pass or register, because you have consented, for example to marketing messages, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the event and in keeping it secure, and because we have a legal obligation, for example to keep tax and accounting records. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it. We share it in the following circumstances.

Service providers. We share information with the companies that help us operate, including our customer relationship and marketing platform, our website and hosting providers, payment processors, registration and badging vendors, email and text message delivery providers, analytics providers, and the venue and its catering and security teams where that is necessary to deliver the event. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us.

Your organization. If your organization purchased your pass or registered you, we may confirm your registration status and attendance to the person who arranged it.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if we are required to by law, court order, subpoena or regulator, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of SWFI Events, our attendees, our staff or the public, or to investigate suspected fraud or a breach of our Terms and Conditions.

Business transfers. If SWFI Events is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

We do not share attendee lists with commercial partners for their own marketing, and no partner receives your contact details unless you ask us to make an introduction or you provide your details to that partner directly, for example by having your badge scanned at their stand.

6. Mobile Information and Text Messaging

If you provide a mobile telephone number, we may use it to send you service and event messages and, where you have opted in, programme and event updates by text message.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Text message consent is never a condition of buying a pass or attending. You can stop marketing text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Full details of the text message program are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

7. International Transfers

The I20 Summit takes place in the United States and our systems and service providers are located primarily in the United States. If you are outside the United States, the information you give us will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from the law in your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers, including the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and the United Kingdom's international data transfer addendum.

8. How Long We Keep Information

We keep registration, attendance and transaction records for as long as needed to run the event and then for as long as our tax, accounting, audit and legal obligations require, which is generally seven years for financial records. We keep marketing contact details until you unsubscribe and then keep a minimal suppression record so that we do not contact you again. We keep website analytics data for a shorter period, generally no more than twenty six months.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and restricting access to staff and providers who need it. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Rights and Choices

You can ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and provide it in a portable format. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, and you can stop marketing text messages by replying STOP. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing we will still send you the service messages you need in order to attend, such as your confirmation and your credential details.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@i20summit.com. We will verify your identity before we act on the request, and we will respond within the time the applicable law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

11. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose and, if applicable, sell or share, the right to request deletion, the right to request correction, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined in California law. In the past twelve months we have collected the categories of information described in section 2 and disclosed them for the business purposes described in section 5. To make a request, contact us at legal@i20summit.com. You may use an authorized agent, and we will ask for proof of their authority.

12. Rights in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

In addition to the rights in section 10, if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first, so please contact us at legal@i20summit.com.

13. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used and measure the performance of our advertising. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional, and where the law requires it we ask for your consent before we set them.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires us to.

14. Children

The I20 Summit is a business event intended for adults. This website and our services are not directed to anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us at legal@i20summit.com and we will delete it.

15. Email Communications

Our marketing emails identify us clearly, describe the message accurately in the subject line, include our physical mailing address and give you a working way to unsubscribe. We act on unsubscribe requests promptly and in any event within ten business days.

16. Third-Party Websites

This website may link to sites we do not control, including our venue, our payment processor and organizations taking part in the programme. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies before giving them your information.

17. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of the page, and if the change is significant we will give you notice by email or through the website before it takes effect. Your continued use of the website or our services after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
